When I founded Alora, I saw what wasn’t working. Care teams were buried in paperwork, chasing down miscommunications, and stretched thin by outdated tools. Technology, meant to help, too often made things harder. We believed something better was possible.

So we built Alora with one guiding principle – that technology should simplify the work of caregiving, not complicate it. Every line of code, every workflow, every update has been shaped by the belief that great software can free caregivers to do what they do best: care.

Not long ago, I visited one of our customer agencies in Ohio. They told me about a diabetic, bedridden patient who was accidentally missed for a scheduled visit. Within minutes, they had another caregiver on the way – potentially avoiding a crisis.

That story didn’t make headlines. But for that patient, it made all the difference. And for us, it was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
